Accommodation and amenities

Opened in December 2010, the house is suitable for elderly or lesser mobile guests or those with small children as the main bedroom, kitchen and meals area and a family lounge are located downstairs. The house has split system air conditioning on both levels. Child safety gates are installed at both the top and bottom of the stairs. Free Wifi is available so you will be able to stay connected. Master Suite and spa en-suite The master bedroom has a king bed, built in robes, tall boy and dressing table and  TV. To ensure all year round comfort, there is a ceiling fan, electric blankets and an electric heater. The adjoining en-suite has a double spa, shower, toilet and vanity. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and body wash are supplied.

Parlour Opposite the master suite is a pleasant sitting room with two recliners, settee, coffee table, ceiling fan and large screen TV with Netflix. It is just the place to sit, watch TV or a movie, read a book or just relax with a coffee.

Family Room The rear family room is an open plan area with a pool table and a selection of books A toilet and vanity is conveniently located nearby. 

Meals Area The dining area provides comfortable seating for eight guests around a square table. You will find all the platters, trays and requirements needed for a lavish feast or an informal meal. A high chair is provided for our younger guests. 

Kitchen Kitchen has a dishwasher, large refrigerator/ freezer,  double sink and microwave. It has a host of appliances ,(including a coffee maker and rice cooker),  and a full complement of crockery, cutlery, saucepans, utensils, serving dishes and casserole dishes. Provisions for a light breakfast are supplied (Cereals, juice, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, butter and spreads).

Outdoor patio and undercover car parking At the rear is a timbered and partly enclosed deck with gas barbecue, Weber kettle and outdoor setting. The shed has fishing and crabbing gear, a selection of sporting gear and golf clubs for guests' use.  A carport at the rear of the property provides undercover parking for two vehicles and there is plenty of room to park a boat.

Upstairs Home Theatre The most popular room in the house is undoubtedly, the home theatre with plush seating for eight guests, large screen TV, DVD, extensive movie collection and surround sound. Telstra TV provides access to a number of Foxtel channels (including Fox Sports) plus easy access to streaming services such as Netflix & Stan (you will require your own subscription).. To avoid going downstairs to eat or cook, a kitchenette with toaster, sink, fridge, coffee machine and  dining setting is provided. Split cycle air-conditioning and a ceiling fan keeps the room comfortable all year round. There is a vast selection of board games, including many old favourites The upstairs bathroom has a shower, toilet and vanity. 

Balcony A glass sliding door from the lounge leads onto an undercover balcony with outdoor seating for eight guests. From the balcony, there are views of the bay, township and oyster beds and on a clear day, The Adelaide Hills and Kangaroo Island can be seen. 

Bedroom 2 The second bedroom has a queen bed, tall boy, dressing table, TV and DVD. There is a ceiling fan and a cot.

Bedroom 3 This bedroom has two king singles, a dressing table, tall boy and a ceiling fan.

Bedroom 4 A great room for kids with three single beds and a trundle. The room has a built in robe and a ceiling fan.
